The Story Behind The Sauce

We are a family rooted in the window and door business, working hard every day building and fixing things for others. But when the workday ended, we found ourselves doing something completely different: firing up the grill, experimenting with flavors, and catering small BBQ events just for the love of it.

That is where it all began.

Our 10-year-old son, Braxton Timms, has always been right there with us, learning, tasting, and giving his honest and sometimes hilarious feedback. What started as family time quickly turned into a shared passion. We began perfecting two flavors we could not get enough of: our bold Original and our sweet heat Mango Habanero.

At some point, we looked at each other and thought, “This sauce hits different.” So we decided to put it out there.

We named it Braxton’s BBQ - Sauce That Chit because that is exactly what it is: real flavor, no shortcuts, and something we are proud to stand behind as a family.

What makes it even more special is seeing it land in a friend’s restaurant and watching people genuinely love it. That is when it became real.

This is not just about BBQ sauce for us. It is about building something with our son, teaching him what hard work, creativity, and belief in yourself can turn into.

We are growing this one bottle at a time, with the goal of turning Braxton’s BBQ into something he can carry forward, build on, and maybe one day turn into a thriving business of his own.
